About Us
Hi, I’m Jessica, founder and instructor of Babbling Hands.
American Sign Language (ASL) has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Two of my aunts are Deaf/Hard of Hearing and use sign as their primary language, which greatly influenced me. After high school, I pursued a degree in Deaf Studies, followed by a Master’s in Deaf Education. Throughout my career in education, I’ve even taught my own children sign language. Unlike my grandparents who never learned ASL to communicate with their daughters, I’m passionate about helping families gain access to this beautiful language.
With my experience, I’ve developed online courses designed for you to learn ASL with your little ones from the comfort of your home. I invite you to join me on this journey as we explore ASL together!
